Our player's benefit from a program designed to make them the best individual player, the best team player, and the best person that they can be. Letter to the Parents or Athlete
Well if you’ve read this far you obviously have a sincere desire to provide the best training for your son or daughter. I’ve spent the better part of 10 years studying this game and the art of training. I have found out that not all players that have played at the highest level can teach and that it is truly a gift. I do believe high-level players that can teach are a rarity and very special people. We have some of those people at Legacy. We at Legacy continue to learn and share the finest training techniques available.
If you are still wondering what really goes behind the training, continue reading…
Personal Growth
The coaches at Legacy Sports Academy are not simply interested in creating fundamentally sound baseball players but also in helping to develop adolescents into well adjusted people. Kids are swamped with good and bad influences outside of the home - from friends, television, the Internet, music, movies, and everything they see around them. They hear all kinds of messages from sources that don't necessarily have their best interest in mind. At Legacy Sports Academy we are well aware of the influence we have on our athletes and we take that responsibility very seriously.
"We Love to Teach Baseball, We know that every kid is different, so we teach every kid different.
No cookie cutter players here"
Each athlete that walks through our door will have different strengths and weaknesses, different body types, goals, backgrounds and psyche. In order to be truly effective, we assess those differences and then select a few focused drills from an array of innovative techniques in order to tailor the training session to the individual. The result is a highly focused training session that solidifies the proper mechanics. This approach is the LSA Diamond Power Player Program: programs are designed accordingly to skill level to help with, assessment, training, evaluation and adjustment, which ensure that each athlete receives the most detailed, effective, and appropriate instruction possible.
Sincerely,
Patrick Berglund
